This is a total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. This class will feature low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party! Come join the party!
Crafted to provide a total body workout through intensity and progression. This 30 minute class will push you past your plateaus using your own body weight. Each participant will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and experience an increased after burn.
Target zones, including arms, core and lower body by adding resistance using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights). This class will focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!
Classes are held at the Mt. Pleasant Center for Active Adults. The class design introduces an easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
Provides modified, low-impact moves and easy-to-follow pacing for those looking to increase flexibility, balance and range of motion in a seated position. Each participant will have chair support to safely perform a variety of fun moves!
“One Stop Body Shock,” class combines Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Core training into a challenging but effective workout! Light to heavy weights or resistance bands will be used.
Belly Dancing is a great form of fitness and it’s so much fun! Join us for a 4 week Belly Dancing session as we breakdown various belly dance movements, learn how to dance with veils and use Zills/Finger Cymbals. Inspired moves by Rachel Brice and other famous Belly Dancing Instructors, this program will leave you feeling beautiful and empowered!

HIIT Step workout is a NEW and innovative 30 minute HIIT exercise class using only bodyweight and a STEP.
Barbell Strength workouts will allow you to move through squats, lunges, chest and overhead presses, as well as tricep dips and bicep, hammer and side arm curls. The intensity of Barbell Strength depends on how much weight you add to the bar. Start easy — you can always increase the weight later.
AMPD uses lightweight kettlebells, in both traditional and non-traditional ways, to create a fun, effective full body workout. Combining the benefits of strength training, functional movements and cardiovascular exercise, this program is a safe and effective workout for all ages and fitness levels.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga will help those looking to develop a practice of conscious, mindful and movement. Yoga connects the mind, body and spirit for a well balenced practice.
CORE & MORE EXPRESS: This 30 minute express class focuses on strengthening the core and improving balance, with segments of endurance strength work.. Hand-held weights and an exercise ball are used to increase muscle strength, range of movement, and to improve upon activities for daily living.
Let's have some fun! Come and learn the basics of yoga, guided meditation and mindfulness in this high energy class that is sure to be a hit with your kids! This class will tap into your child's natural need to be active, while promoting confidence and promoting self regulation.
Focuses on stress reduction, breath work, stretching, strengthening, and balance. This class incorporates standing and prone positions, requiring students to have the ability to get up from and down to the floor.
